and do you need insurance if i buy let's say Vespa scooter?
Honda are well known for their reliability in all their bikes and probably have the best parts back up of all the manufacturers.Yamaha are also reliable but don't have as big a network as Honda.Vespa also have pedigree, a million Italians can't be wrong though sourcing parts can be expensive and time consuming. Insurance is a must.

I had a honda elite the one that goes about 80mph or faster and it was a blast and never had any problems with it at all.
Insurance is so cheap its not even worth talking about if you own the scooter outright.
However lets say a scooter is a 50 on the fun scale of 1-100 a motorcycle is 100!
Get a Ninja 250 by Kawasaki. They cost less than most new scooters if you get a Ninja used, plus they have a bit more power and they are a blast to ride.

Kymco they use to make Hondas motors 150cc and down and are far better and cheaper than other brand. They have been around since 1963.

Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Kymco, and Vespa are all great. The Kymco costs less and doubles the warranty. I've owned 'em all and currently have two Kymco sccoters.
